Summer Research Opportunities

Undergraduate Student Research Award

Research scholarship valued at $8400 over 16 weeks (full-time) to gain experience working as a research assistant in a university lab or research group.

Eligibility criteria to apply:

• Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada

• A minimum cumulative GPA equivalent to a "B+"

• Registered in a bachelor's degree program at an eligible university

Internal Math & Stats departmental funding

The Stewart fund provides funding up to $5000 for students in Math & Stats to participate in opportunities that might not otherwise be available to them.

These can include:

• Summer research with faculty at McMaster or elsewhere

• Travel to conferences

• Outreach activities

ALL students (international and domestic) are eligible to apply.
